Jazziki was founded in 2004 by some people who shared their passion for Jazz music and also liked playing together. It happened that Sascha Bachmann, who was one of them, became the Band leader and kept the Band alive although band members were changing over the years.

The Band name Jazziki has a Russian origin and means Jazz kids. It refers to the age of the Band members compared to the long time story of Jazz.

Their sound developed over the years and has been influenced by the constant change of Band members. Nevertheless you will hear a relation to the 1950ies as well as Jazz tradition in general and its roots in Blues music.
