Hey Folks,

I was very lucky when I found this beautiful old Sonor drumset at a fleamarket in Berlin. I love vintage drums, I love to restore them and to play them. Everytime I get a new drumset I promise myself to sell another one of my collection, but it never works. With every drumset there are important memories of life. Where I got it from, what shows I played it at…this is just priceless.

This Sonor Is going to be my new project. I will capture the journey on photo and video. Here are some first impressions. You can surely see that it went through a lot, but there Is nothing my carpenter-hands cannot fix.

PS: This is where the search for your very own sound starts! Every scratch and every drummer who every played these drums influenced its sound. The drum industry can come up with what ever they want. There is no way I go and buy a mass-produced drumset:)
